Tape-edge folder

HERRAfix® tape-edge folder, supplied with magnetic feet and masking tape.

The HERRAfix® tape-edge folder creates a soft, precise transition between painted and unpainted surfaces, without a hard paint edge. It folds a consistent edge into the tape, making it particularly useful when masking for partial refinishing.

Experienced refinishers will find the tool straightforward to use. It automatically creates a uniform folded edge, making masking noticeably easier.

Recommended masking tapes
We recommend using the HERRAfix® tape-edge folder with Audurra Superior 130°C high-performance masking tape. 3M 3434 also works well.

!!! Differences in roll thickness, tape properties and adhesive strength mean that many other masking tapes arenot kompatibel!!!

How to use the tool:
Slide the tape roll onto the holder and pull out a short length of tape.
Keep the adhesive side facing upwards. Fold one third of the tape width over by hand to form an edge.
Slide the folded edge under the black guide cover and pull the tape forwards.
As you continue pulling, the tool automatically folds the edge evenly along the tape.
