Warranty conditions

IONSTAR® Manufacturer's Warranty

Here you can find the warranty terms and details of the manufacturer’s guarantee.

(i)
The manufacturer of the IONSTAR®, Herrmann Innovations GmbH, provides a standard warranty of 2 years for the IONSTAR®.With the purchase of an extended warranty, this coverage is increased to a total of 5 years. In both cases, the warranty period begins on the date of the end customer’s invoice.

(ii)
Geographical scope of warranty coverage:
Sections (i) to (vi): valid worldwide
Sections (i) to (vii): valid within the European Union

(iii)
The warranty covers the freedom from defects of the advertised product, including functionality, material defects, or manufacturing faults.

If a defect covered by this warranty occurs during the warranty period, the manufacturer will, at its discretion, provide one of the following services:
- Free repair of the product, or
- Free replacement with an item of equal value

(v)
Warranty claims are excluded in the case of damage caused by:
- Operating the IONSTAR® above the maximum pressure
- Repeated use of the device outside the recommended air pressure range
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper handling
- Disregard of safety instructions
- Use of force (e.g. impact damage)- Unauthorized repair attempts

(vi)
To make use of the warranty, the warrantor must be given the opportunity to inspect the claim (e.g. by returning the product). IONSTAR® devices must always be sent to the manufacturer’s address as stated in section (iv). Please ensure the product is securely packaged to avoid damage during transport. A copy of the original invoice must be included with the returned goods so the warrantor can verify the validity of the warranty period. Without a valid proof of purchase, the warrantor reserves the right to deny warranty service.
If your claim is accepted, no shipping costs will be incurred for the return shipment.

(vii)
For the European Union:
This manufacturer’s warranty does not affect your statutory rights under the purchase contract with us.
Any existing legal warranty rights you may have remain unaffected by this guarantee. This manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to your legal rights, not a replacement for them.

If the purchased item is defective, you may always contact us under your statutory warranty rights, regardless of whether a warranty case exists or whether this warranty is claimed.
